Father’s Day 2014

We started our Father’s Day like so many other families out there.  You know, waking the kids up early so they can make breakfast for Dad and deliver it to him in bed.   Bug made the breakfast burritos while Squeaky made a card and Buddy wrapped some presents.  We also had cantaloupe and homemade donuts.

This is the poem Squeaky wrote for her dad.

Dangerous

Amaze-balls

Daddy, you’re the best

Does the right thing

You have people that love you.

I told her next year do “Father” There are way too many D’s in Daddy.

After breakfast we packed a lunch and drove to Fort Worth for some geocaching.  Tim and I really like geocaching.  The kids, not so much.  We like the excuse to get up and GO!  They want to just sit and do nothing.   We have seen some really cool places while geocaching.  It’s really fun when it’s a new city.   Makes sight seeing easy, you just let the caches lead you!

For Father’s Day Squeaky made some SWAG for Tim.  She made some dragonfly key chains with cards that said that they were handmade by her and placed by Tim and then “Happy Father’s Day 2014.”  So we had to go around and get them placed around town in the caches for other people to find.   We found 5 caches yesterday, one was too small for SWAG so we placed four dragonflys around Fort Worth.
